Enable Advanced Mode

First Click settings

Second Toggle Advanced Mode

This unlocks additional controls, such as Mixer, EQs and LED settings*

* Please update your Minirig 4 or Sub 4 before using the controls

Advanced EQ Mode

App Battery Status

Battery % Status

Displays the battery percentage of the connected device

Bass Dial

Adjusts low-frequency output for connected speakers. Does not affect AUX output

Treble Dial

Adjusts high-frequency output for connected speakers. Does not affect AUX output

5 Band EQ

Five adjustable frequency bands: 70 Hz, 250 Hz, 850 Hz, 3 kHz, 10.5 kHz. Affects both speaker and AUX outputs. ±5 dB

Reset Settings

Restores factory EQ defaults

Save Settings

Saves current EQ, bass, treble, and gain configuration

Load Settings

Loads previously saved configurations

Navigation

Tabs available: Mixer / EQ / LED

Media Controls

Play, Pause, Skip. Syncs with connected device media controls

Advanced Mode Mixer Page

AUX in Left

Adjusts pre-amp gain for left and right AUX inputs

0-31 at 1db per step

AUX in Right

Adjusts pre-amp gain for left and right AUX inputs

0-31 at 1db per step

Main Speaker Volume

Controls overall speaker output, which is linked to Bluetooth volume
70db range, 0-31 at 2.25db per step

AUX output Volume

Adjusts signal level on AUX output
0-12 at 2.25db per step

*Audio output works with legacy products, default setting 7

Headphone mode

Mutes the speaker and outputs stereo L/R on the aux output instead of mono mix

Advanced LED Mode

All LED modes operate dynamically based on sound or run self-animating patterns.
You can adjust mode, brightness, and colour.

VU Mode

LEDs respond visually to the intensity of the sound, providing a clean level-meter effect.

Party Mode

LEDs flow through rhythmic colour patterns, creating an energetic but consistent display.

Rave Mode

LEDs trigger bursts of light in time with music peaks for a high-impact visual effect.

Calm Mode

LEDs transition smoothly between colours to create a relaxed atmosphere.

Wave Mode

LEDs move in fluid colour sequences for a natural, ambient feel.

Pulse Mode

LEDs pulse with the music’s rhythm, brightening in sync with volume dynamics.

LED Colours

Allows selection of fixed colour or tonal range. Applies across all LED modes

VU Mode Switch

Toggles VU mode on or off. Accessible from both LED tab and Settings

Troubleshooting

Make sure your Minirig 4 or Subwoofer 4 is running the latest software, and that you have the newest version of the Minirig App installed. Enjoy!
