National Student Drama Festival

Minirig helped out at this years National Student Drama Festival! Here's what they had to say: 

 

"The National Student Drama Festival is an annual event that encourages and celebrates the best and brightest student theatre that the UK has to offer. This year, the Festival was based in Leicester across the De Montfort University campus and Curve Theatre, with 16 shows visited the Festival across 9 venues. The Festival was supported by 15 professional technicians leading a 45 strong student technical team.  

 

Minirig kindly sponsored the Festival with the loan of a demo unit for use in a promenade show. The Minirig was used as an "audio guide" connected to a phone to guide the audience through the show. Based on the connectivity issues that the company had during their original run with the Bluetooth speaker that they used, it was agreed that a wired connection to a Minirig would provide reliable operation across their 8 performances at the Festival."
