While We Were Sleeping

We would like to share this new EP produced by Guy Schneerson:

About the EP:

Based on a live set I played during 2015 that was especially prepared for a Kin-Aesthetic event at Brighton's "The Verdict".

The set is a bass heavy, ambient EP that's based on two mono synth and a two track analog style sequencer. Also an analog drum machine and an iPad running samplr, loaded with samples from the movie vertigo.

Recording:
The EP was recorded over the last two weeks of 2015. I can think of a number of things I could have made better but my deadline was the 1st of Jan and as a result this is a beta version (unlikely to ever be finished and why should anything good be ever finished?).

About the tracks:
The live show had 5 tracks + intro & outro and live improvisations between each track.
The studio version replaced the live Improvisation with two Ableton live jams. The 5 tracks are a lot shorter have a lot less bass then the origin set and are more produced. The track "Meet again sometime" also has an additional two tracks (overdubs) but all others are true to the live set: 2 Synth a drum machine and iPad. The outro is the actual recording from the night.

Hope you enjoy and if you want to know more or have any comments for the unlikely next version of the EP let me know
